Astrolabe Brew Bar is a long-standing local bar in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, welcoming guests since 1994. Located on Maunganui Road beneath Mauao, it brings together surf culture, a lively atmosphere and a sunny outdoor setting known for sunset views. The venue is a place for locals and visitors to meet, relax and celebrate, with trading hours extending into the evening and late on weekends.
Astrolabe serves a broad selection of beers and wines, alongside cocktails, and its kitchen offers pub classics, share plates, specials and foot-long pizzas. Guests can also enjoy regular events and activities, including live music, quiz nights, sports screenings and food and drink promotions. Table bookings are available, and a live surf cam offers a view of Mount Main Beach.
