About Astrous
Astrous is a developer-focused zero-knowledge proof service designed to make cryptographic proving easier to integrate into Web3 applications. Through a cloud API, developers submit computations and witness data, then receive compact, verifiable proofs without managing proving infrastructure themselves. Astrous describes its service as privacy-preserving: applications can demonstrate that computations are valid without disclosing sensitive inputs.
The platform is being developed with GPU-accelerated cloud infrastructure and is intended to scale proof generation on demand. Its planned workflow covers submitting a computation, generating a proof, and verifying it for on-chain submission or off-chain use. Astrous aims to support multiple proving systems, including zkSNARKs, zkSTARKs, PLONK, Groth16, and Halo2, with the option to select a suitable backend.
The company says its chain-agnostic approach is designed for ecosystems such as Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Cosmos, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism, and zkSync. Astrous is currently progressing through research and prototyping, with private alpha and later release phases planned. Early access is offered through a waitlist.
