The Assam Skill University is being setup under External Aid Project (EAP) funded by Asian Development Bank. In September 2020, the Assam Legislative Assembly passed the Assam Skill University Act to establish Assam Skill University (ASU) in accordance with the regulations of the Government of India�s University Grants Commission.

About Assam Skill University
Assam Skill University (ASU) is a pioneering educational institution established with the vision of enhancing technical vocational education and training (TVET) in Assam. Funded by the Asian Development Bank, ASU aims to address the challenges of skill development and employability in the region.
