ASUP is an independent land-use planning and environmental consultancy founded in 2012 by two agronomists specialising in soil science and urban planning. Its founders brought more than 20 years of professional experience, and the team now offers over 25 years of expertise across urban planning, pedology and agronomy. The practice combines these disciplines to help shape projects that are grounded in their local territories, drawing on a network of experienced independent partners.

ASUP’s services cover soil inventories and mapping, functional soil assessments, and work on ecology and biodiversity in natural, agricultural and urban settings. Its urban-planning expertise includes territorial planning and regulatory planning, from neighbourhoods to inter-municipal communities. The team also conducts agricultural and agronomic diagnostics, assesses how agricultural land functions, and supports transitions to agroecological practices. Environmental and landscape services include environmental assessments, impact studies, ecological landscape analysis and wetland diagnostics.

ASUP works with municipalities and inter-municipal authorities, as well as on projects involving parks, forests, vineyards, water resources and mountain environments.
