About ASU
Association Sénégalaise d'Urologie (ASU) is a learned organization based in Dakar, dedicated to promoting Urology in Senegal and Africa. Their main objectives are to promote the practice, training, and research in urology, strengthen connections between urologists, international urology societies, and other associations in Senegal, organize research projects and promote their publication, conduct training activities in urology, and hold scientific meetings focused on urology. ASU also advocates for ethics in urology practice.
They actively engage in surgical campaigns in different regions of Senegal. The association consists of active members, corresponding members, associate members, temporary members, and honorary members. The ASU headquarters is located at the Urology Department of the Grand Yoff IDRISSA POUYE General Hospital in Dakar, Senegal.
