ASV-Egg

The Armbrustschützenverein Egg (ASV-Egg) is a crossbow shooting club based in the Esslingen district. It welcomes people interested in precision shooting and offers access to a well-equipped range, with indoor 10-metre shooting in winter and a larger 30-metre facility in summer. The club has 13 active members, including one junior, and supports both sporting development and social activities.

Members can take part in training and internal and external competitions. Each summer, ASV-Egg also holds a public shooting event where visitors can try crossbow shooting without prior experience or registration. The sport encourages concentration, accuracy, controlled breathing and composure, and does not require substantial physical strength. The club welcomes new members at any time, with no age limit for the sport. Training places are available for young participants from age eight, with careful instruction and supervision in line with Youth and Sport guidelines. Crossbows may be provided. For more information, interested people can contact club president Heinz Müller by phone.
