ASV-Kirchdorf

Angelsportverein Kirchdorf/Iller e.V. is a fishing and nature conservation club founded in 1974 by a group of anglers with a shared interest in the outdoors. Based in Kirchdorf an der Iller, Germany, the association has more than 111 members and pursues its activities at three gravel pits and a section of the Iller River. Its work combines responsible angling with the care and maintenance of local waters, nature conservation, and protection of species.

The club also places strong emphasis on introducing young people to fishing and the natural environment. Its youth group welcomes members aged 10 to 17 and offers guidance in learning about angling, fish, and ecological relationships, with support from the youth leader and water wardens. Adults and young people can apply for membership using separate application forms; applications are reviewed by the club’s board, which may invite prospective members to meet in person. The association also shares information about its activities, events, rules, and community gatherings through its website.
