ASV Walldorf 1962 e.V. is a local angling club in Mörfelden-Walldorf, Germany, dedicated to caring for nearby waters and managing fishing rights. The club built Gundwiesensee in the Gundwiesen area in 1962–63 and has leased fishing rights at the local bathing lake, now known as Walldorfer Badestelle, since 1970. It also manages fishing along the Gundbach near the Gundwiesen and northern Walldorf.
Members contribute thousands of volunteer hours each year to maintaining the lakes and river. Their work includes shoreline care and reinforcement, regular water-quality checks, and monitoring fish populations. The club also conducts annual stock-assessment fishing sessions, with findings used by its water wardens to plan conservation and fishery management measures. On the Gundbach, it has worked with the Association of Hessian Fishers on electric-fishing surveys and participates in discussions about river restoration under the European Water Framework Directive.
ASV Walldorf shares information about its history, membership, youth activities, news, and events. Its clubhouse is open for Sunday morning gatherings, with other visits arranged by prior agreement.
