ASVI Sardegna

ASVI Sardegna is the Sardinian Agency for the Development and Promotion of the Horse Sector, serving breeders, equestrian professionals, sports associations and the wider public. Based in Ozieri, the agency operates within the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and provides information, programs and services focused on equine breeding and the island’s horse heritage.

Its work includes support for equine reproduction and genetics, including an annual insemination campaign and the presentation of agency stallions. ASVI also promotes selected Sardinian horse production through breeding initiatives, competitions and events. These include the Premio Regionale Sardo for three-year-old foals, programs for young horses, and the Cavalli di Sardegna elite showcase for Anglo-Arabian sport-line and Italian Saddle horses.

At its Tanca Regia facilities in Abbasanta, the agency organizes equestrian events and show jumping competitions, including the Tanca Regia Autumn Tour and Sardegna Jumping Tour. The website provides notices, institutional updates, calls and contributions, administrative documents, and information for breeders and equestrian operators.
