Asylum Redux

Asylum Redux is a community-centered online role-playing game built around shared stories, unpredictable encounters, and player-driven activity. Its game server is scheduled to shut down at the end of September 2026, concluding a long-running experience that brought together police, rebels, medics, civilians, role players, and players seeking quieter pursuits such as fishing. Memorable activities included heists, standoffs, convoys, and the spontaneous chaos that shaped life on the server.

The project was sustained by administrators, developers, moderators, and testers, whose work helped keep the game running and supported its community. Although the servers will go offline, Asylum Redux’s community spaces are expected to remain available. Players can continue connecting through Discord, My Asylum, the Wiki, and TeamSpeak to share memories, exchange stories, and stay in touch.

The farewell message thanks everyone who participated, whether for a single evening or for years, and recognizes the contributions that made the experience distinctive. Asylum Redux is therefore closing its game service while preserving channels for its community to remain connected
