Caritas München

The Alten- und Service-Zentrum Pasing (ASZ Pasing) is a senior support and community centre in Munich’s Pasing district. It is an institution of the City of Munich, operated by Caritasverband der Erzdiözese München und Freising, and welcomes older adults regardless of religion or nationality, as well as their families and other people supporting them. Its goal is to help visitors remain independent and self-determined in their familiar surroundings for as long as possible.

The centre offers free, confidential advice from social-pedagogical professionals on everyday support, home-help services, emergency call systems, meal delivery, care services, short-term and day care, housing options, home adaptations, and assistance with authorities and forms. Home visits can be arranged when needed. ASZ Pasing also provides preventive home visits, educational activities, exercise and movement sessions, and opportunities for socialising, shared meals, and community engagement. Its programme includes regular events such as film afternoons, talks, readings, and group singing. Based at Bodenseestraße 4b, the centre serves as a local point of contact for information, support, and companionship.
