About Actuarial Society of Zambia
The Actuarial Society of Zambia (ASZ) is a professional body that represents the actuarial profession in Zambia. Established in 2008 under the Society's Act, ASZ aims to raise visibility and promote the highest standards of actuarial practice in the Zambian Pensions and Insurance industry. ASZ offers various resources and services to its members, including enhancing the student education experience and creating a cross-border mentorship program.
They also focus on increasing awareness of the actuarial profession through online and physical presence, as well as building partnerships with other professional services societies.
