@Fire

@fire Schweiz is an organization focused on preventing and fighting forest and vegetation fires in Switzerland. It supports local fire services through specialist training, practical exercises, and operational cooperation, helping crews prepare for incidents in challenging terrain and changing weather conditions. Its work includes instruction in modern vegetation-fire tactics, helicopter coordination, and post-fire mop-up operations.

Training is delivered with Swiss fire departments and aviation partners, including Air Glaciers, and is designed for firefighters and fire-service leaders. Recent activities include practical courses, team exercises, and helicopter-focused training in locations across Switzerland. The organization also shares fire-safety knowledge and publishes guidance on standard firefighting orders and situations that require particular caution.

Beyond its work in Switzerland, @fire has supported knowledge transfer abroad, including a forest-fire training project in Bolivia that is planned to continue in 2027. The organization invites people to learn about its requirements and training, help with its work, and contribute through donations. It also provides information on current vegetation-fire danger and an alarm contact for operational notifications
