Atalapaka

Atalapaka is a family-run alpaca experience and animal-assisted activity provider in Winterthur, Switzerland, led by Monika Klötzli. The calm, people-friendly alpacas offer visitors opportunities to connect with animals through individually arranged walks and stable visits. Guests can meet, feed and stroke the animals, while learning about alpacas and their natural environment. The farm also welcomes families, groups and school classes, and hosts children’s birthday visits and holiday-program day courses.

Atalapaka’s pasture and stable serve as outdoor learning and therapy spaces for children and people with disabilities. Activities are adapted to participants’ needs, and the alpacas also visit schools and care institutions, including settings serving people with dementia. Environmental education is part of the experience: visitors can explore nature and ecological cycles, including the farm’s composting practices and wildlife habitats.

The business sells gift vouchers, natural, untreated alpaca wool from its own animals, and biocompost. Visits and activities require advance arrangements; spontaneous visits are not available.
