Atala Toy

Atala Toy is a photography and education project led by photographer, author, and interdimensional communicator Atala Toy. Since 2003, Toy says she has photographed and communicated directly with “nature beings” expressed through trees, rocks, landscapes, and other natural forms. The work presents these beings as intelligent communities sharing Earth and aims to document their presence and perspectives while encouraging respectful relationships with them.

The Nature Being Project brings together more than twenty years of photographic documentation in several formats. Its Field Guide is a visual reference organized by topic for study and comparison, while Nature Being Society articles explore beings, relationships, places, communities, and creation. Online art galleries showcase photographs as works of art and individual presences. Visitors can also learn about Toy’s story, explore media, connect with a community for shared experiences, or inquire about speaking engagements. The site offers different starting points for curious newcomers and people who identify with similar encounters.
