ATEC: Asia Technology Entrepreneurship Conference is the preeminent university alumni club-led technology conference and startup competition in Asia. Founded by the alumni clubs of top universities such as Harvard, Columbia, MIT, and Stanford, ATEC aims to foster active engagement within the startup ecosystem in Asia. ATEC believes that technology and entrepreneurship are essential in creating long-term value.

The conference showcases the most creative minds and promising startups, including those affiliated with the alumni club organizers. Their goal is to spur innovation across Asia by delivering events that highlight regional and global ambitions. ATEC was formed by merging two successful startup ecosystem events: the Harvard Business School Association of Hong Kong Annual Startup Competition series and the Columbia University Asia Technology Conference.

The inaugural ATEC2019 drew over 400 attendees and served as a landmark event. As a non-profit organization, ATEC allocates all net proceeds from the conference towards the annual prize money for the Startup Competition. University Alumni Club teams can participate by nominating up to three startups sourced through their own networks.
