About Atelie 3
Atelier 3 Architects is an architectural studio located in Sofia, Bulgaria. With a focus on cultural heritage, conservation, and interpretation of archaeological sites, as well as public spaces, Atelier 3 offers a range of architectural services. The studio was founded in 2013 by licensed architects Donika Georgieva and Miroslav Velkov, who specialize in heritage conservation.
They were later joined by Dessislava Kovacheva, who is currently working on her doctoral thesis on the heritage of urban square spaces. Atelier 3 firmly believes that architecture is a collaborative effort, and they thrive on working in creative teams. Their motto, Mind the context, reflects their commitment to consider the surroundings and history of each project.
