Atelier 88 Architects is a creative architecture practice based in Birmingham and Shrewsbury. The firm works collaboratively with clients to understand their needs and turn their ideas into thoughtful, practical designs. Its approach is bespoke and context-led: each project receives an individual design response shaped by the site and its surroundings, whether urban, suburban or rural.
The practice works across residential, heritage and commercial projects. Its services include home extensions and remodelling, private residential alterations, bespoke homes, conversions, and larger apartment developments. Atelier 88 also has experience with listed buildings and conservation areas, developing sensitive interventions intended to conserve and enhance historic places. For commercial clients and developers, the team can support the design and delivery of large-scale projects, particularly in the residential sector.
Atelier 88 offers a free initial design consultation to establish a client’s aspirations and project requirements. From there, the practice provides design advice and can guide clients through the process from early concepts to completion.
