Atelier Alhéna is the artisanal saddlery workshop of Céline Gombert, a craftsperson specialising in custom equestrian equipment and saddle fitting. Based in Verzé, France, the workshop combines traditional French saddlery skills with careful attention to each horse’s morphology and biomechanics. Its handmade products use high-quality full-grain leather from vegetable tanning and waxed linen thread, with customisation options and advice to help create comfortable, well-fitted equipment.

The range includes made-to-measure saddles, bridles, reins, girths, stirrup leathers, lunging equipment, saddle pads and other accessories. The workshop also offers saddle-fitting services, repairs to give existing equipment a second life, and after-sales support. Beyond equestrian gear, Atelier Alhéna creates canine equipment such as collars, leads and harnesses, along with leather goods including belts and bags.

Céline provides personalised consultations, can travel to take measurements, and considers individual projects. Workshops introduce participants to leatherworking or explore how saddles and bridles can be adapted to horses. Atelier Alhéna is open by appointment.
