About Le Travail de la Nacre
ATELIER-MELISSE is a family-rooted jewellery creator based in Porto, Corsica, crafting pieces from Mediterranean red coral and mother-of-pearl since 1964. Its workshop and boutique bring traditional skills together with contemporary design, with a heritage in mother-of-pearl work passed down through the Galet family. The collection includes rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and pendants for women, men and children.
Designs combine coral or nacre with gold or silver and, in some pieces, semi-precious stones such as turquoise, agate and aquamarine. The brand also offers fantasy jewellery and made-to-measure creations, alongside guidance on choosing, sizing and caring for jewellery. ATELIER-MELISSE highlights responsible sourcing: its coral partners are carefully selected, and the company describes compliance with fishing rules intended to protect the environment and coral resources.
