Atelier de Vitrail Lepoutre

Atelier de Vitrail Lepoutre is a glass and mural art studio based in Lezennes, near Lille, serving clients across northern France. Founded by vitraillist Hugo Lepoutre, the atelier brings together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design to create work shaped by light, colour, texture and transparency. Hugo trained in art, painting and interior architecture before specializing in stained glass, and established his workshop in 2017. In 2024, he joined forces with mural illustrator Rose Lepoutre to combine their practices.

The atelier designs bespoke stained-glass windows for homes and other spaces, and restores historic or damaged panels with respect for their materials, history and traditional techniques. Its glass creations also include decorative objects such as lamps, mirrors, screens and glass slabs. Rose and Hugo additionally develop and execute mural paintings, from decorative motifs to large-scale designs. Each project is individually planned, with the team guiding clients from initial ideas and design through to production or on-site work. The studio works with private clients as well as heritage projects.
