Atelier CMA

CMA Atelier d’Architettura is an architecture and engineering practice based in Cologno Monzese, Italy. Founded in 2006 by architect Cristina Mazzola, the studio became an architecture and engineering company in 2021. Its team of in-house professionals and specialist partners supports projects from initial concept through construction, tailoring solutions to each client and working across scales, from custom furnishings to large property developments.

CMA’s services include architectural design for new buildings, renovations, and urban projects; interior design and bespoke furniture; and turnkey project coordination. The studio also provides municipal and cadastral documentation, energy certifications and assessments, thermographic analysis, energy-efficiency upgrades, and construction-site management, including works supervision and safety coordination. Its technical capabilities include laser-scanner surveys and BIM design, with survey data available in point-cloud, BIM, or AutoCAD formats. CMA emphasizes integrated collaboration among architectural, structural, and building-systems professionals to support project delivery. With a focus on environmental quality and building performance, the practice also draws on Cristina Mazzola’s research and experience in sustainable design and green roofs and façades.
