L'atelier Encrage

Atelier Encrage is a collective of qualified, experienced professional facilitators who make creative writing and literature accessible to everyone. Its welcoming workshops invite people of all backgrounds and experience levels to write in small groups, build confidence and discover the pleasure of expressing themselves. Rather than focusing on performance or publication, the approach encourages experimentation, reflection and the development of each participant’s own voice through supportive guidance and shared feedback.

The collective offers creative writing activities for individuals and groups, helping participants explore ideas, memories and literary techniques at their own pace. Its memory and transmission services support people in writing life stories and sharing biographies, in writing or aloud. Atelier Encrage also works with businesses, local authorities and institutions to co-create projects suited to professional and community settings.

Across its activities, the team uses writing, reading and conversation as tools for creativity, connection and personal expression. Participants describe the workshops as encouraging, collaborative experiences that help them gain confidence, develop their writing and engage with the words and perspectives of others.
