About Atelier Hub Portugal
Atelier Hub runs hands-on Turkish mosaic lamp workshops in Lisbon and Porto.
In a session of about two and a half hours, each participant builds their own lamp by hand, choosing colours and pattern from a palette of coloured glass, beads and mirror fragments set onto a metal frame. The lamp is lit at the end of the session and goes home the same day. No drying, no firing, no waiting, and no previous experience needed.
The technique is traditional Turkish. Sessions end with Turkish tea, which is usually the moment the group slows down and starts talking.
Alongside open sessions, Atelier Hub organises private workshops for groups from 10 people, used for birthdays, hen parties, family celebrations and company team building.
Atelier Hub also operates in the United Kingdom and Germany.
