Atelier Midori

Atelier Midori is a fine-dining restaurant in Lippetal led by chef Thomas Klasna. Its name reflects the concept: “Atelier” evokes a place of creative craft, while “Midori,” Japanese for green, suggests nature, freshness, and vitality. The restaurant offers an elegant yet approachable setting for a relaxed, special evening, bringing together regional ingredients, Asian techniques, French finesse, and a contemporary culinary style.

The kitchen’s menus are shaped by balance, contrast, and careful attention to flavor and texture. Familiar ingredients and memories inspired by childhood, travel, and nature are reimagined in modern dishes. When meat is included, it comes from the restaurant’s own organic farm. Guests can choose a five-course menu featuring meat and fish or a fully vegan version, with a shorter three-course menu also available later in the evening. On Mondays, the restaurant serves an à la carte selection. Reservations are available through OpenTable. Atelier Midori is open Monday and Wednesday through Saturday evenings and is closed on Sundays and Tuesdays.
