Atelier Millet

Atelier Millet is a Viseu-based atelier specialising in made-to-measure curtains and blinds, upholstery, furniture restoration and distinctive antique pieces. Its work combines traditional and contemporary techniques, adapting each project to the home, the item and the client’s needs while aiming to preserve the character and history of furniture.

The atelier makes a wide range of curtains and blinds, along with custom cushions, bedheads, bed-base covers and bedspreads. Upholstery services cover sofas, armchairs, chairs, benches and bedheads, with materials and finishes selected to suit each piece. The team also repairs and restores furniture, working on its structure and refinishing or reupholstering it as needed.

At its showroom on Rua 21 de Agosto in Viseu, customers can browse Portuguese and European fabric collections, including options for upholstery, curtains and outdoor use, as well as wallpaper and decorative trimmings. The showroom and warehouse also offer antique furniture from Portugal and elsewhere in Europe, with many pieces available for personalisation. Atelier Millet works with private clients and project professionals in Portugal and abroad.
