Atelier PWA

Atelier PWA is an architecture studio founded by Pierre Chauveau and Warren Nadjar, based in Théoule-sur-Mer and Fréjus and working mainly across the Var and Alpes-Maritimes. The studio creates contemporary residential projects, renovations, rehabilitations and landscape designs, with a strong focus on the relationship between buildings, their surroundings and the way people live. Its work takes inspiration from the Mediterranean landscape, including its hills, pine forests, mineral ground and changing light.

Atelier PWA offers support throughout a project, from initial design sketches through construction. Its services span architectural design, interior architecture, landscape planning, rehabilitation and construction follow-up. The founders’ complementary experience informs an approach attentive to proportions, materials, technical requirements and quality of execution. Each project seeks a considered balance between indoor and outdoor spaces, light and materials, and contemporary design and existing character. The studio aims to create restrained, contextual and durable architecture that fits naturally into its setting, while reinterpreting tradition without losing the appeal of the past.
