About ATEOA Sri Lanka
Air Traffic Engineering Officers’ Association (ATEOA) in Sri Lanka is the premier organization dedicated to providing communication, navigation, and surveillance facilities for air traffic services in the Sri Lanka Flight Information Region (FIR). ATEOA coordinates with adjacent FIRs through voice and data communication while ensuring the installation, maintenance, and calibration of systems comply with international standards.
ATEOA offers a range of services including aviation communication with VHF, HF, and UHF systems, air navigation services through ILS, DME, and DVOR systems, as well as air traffic management with primary and secondary radar coverage utilizing ADS-B technology. Additionally, ATEOA provides airport security systems such as baggage screening and metal detection systems. ATEOA’s mission is to ensure air traffic safety by maintaining and calibrating air traffic management systems in the aviation industry.
