Recent drill results have confirmed the presence of a significant copper-gold porphyry system that remains open in all directions. Valeriano is strategically located adjacent to the El Encierro deposit, a joint venture between Antofagasta and Barrick Gold. The project sits within the larger Link Belt, a 120-km zone connecting the Maricunga gold porphyry belt to the El Indio gold-epithermal belt, which hosts notable copper-gold deposits.
ATEX Resources is backed by shareholders with a successful track record in resource investment, including Pierre Lassonde, co-founder of Franco-Nevada. The company is also engaged in a low-cost generative exploration program in northern Chile, targeting high-sulphidation precious metals deposits
