A Teyavana

A Teyavana Cooperativa Astur is a social and psychological care cooperative based in Oviedo, Asturias. Since 2013, its team has supported people with psychosocial disabilities and mental health needs, helping them work toward recovery, improve their quality of life and strengthen their social connections. The cooperative believes that social and psychological services play an essential role in mental health care.

Its services include a psychosocial support programme at the A Teyavana Integration Support Centre, where participants receive guidance in pursuing personal goals, supporting their mental health and expanding their social networks. The cooperative also offers agrotherapy through shared learning and outdoor work in its garden, as well as family respite activities that include organised trips for centre participants. Through Radio A Teyavana 2.0, service users take a leading role in conversations about mental health, alongside invited contributors. A Teyavana provides person-centred support and invites individuals and families to make contact to learn about available services and the recovery process.
