AthensYouthFootball

Athens Youth Football (AYF) is the official youth football program of Athens High School, serving local athletes ages 6–12. Guided by the values of hard work, discipline, competition, and family, the program aims to build the next generation of Golden Eagles while fostering community connection and school pride. AYF fields three football teams—A, B, and C—and provides families with team information, schedules, standings, registration details, practice expectations, game-day guidance, and announcements. The season begins in August, with games and league play organized through NAYF.

AYF also offers cheer, emphasizing sideline spirit, teamwork, and leadership. Families and supporters can find Athens Eagles apparel and customizable merchandise, including T-shirts, sweatshirts, cheer shirts, and water bottles, through the Salt + Shine collection. The organization invites local businesses to support its athletes, cheerleaders, and families through community partnerships and sponsorships. Updates, photos, reminders, and game-day information are shared through AYF’s social media channels. Built around the idea of “one town, one team, one family,” Athens Youth Football provides young people with opportunities to participate, develop confidence, and represent their community.
