Atherton Show

Atherton Show is the annual community event organised by the Atherton Tablelands Agricultural Society, celebrating the region’s agricultural heritage, local talent and country traditions. Held in June or July, the two-day show brings together families, farmers, exhibitors and entertainers for competitions, displays and activities. Its roots date back to 1903, and it remains a much-loved regional gathering supported by local volunteers, businesses and community partners.

Visitors can explore livestock and agricultural exhibits, fresh produce, arts and crafts, floral displays, photography, cooking, needlework and junior competitions. The program also features horse events, poultry, rides, sideshow attractions, food and live entertainment, with activities designed for the whole family. Exhibitors, stallholders and community groups can apply to showcase products, food, crafts or services, while local organisations and businesses can get involved through volunteering or sponsorship. The society provides practical visitor information, including tickets, a show map and program details, and publishes competition entries and results.
