Athens International Children's Film Festival (#athicff) was established in 2018 to support and promote the global creative film production for children, teenagers, and their families. This festival showcases a wide range of films, including premiere screenings, both short and feature-length, animated and live-action, from around the world, inviting children and teenagers aged 3 to 18 to discover them. Recognizing the significance of children's and teenagers' cinema globally, Athens hosts this festival as a celebration of their own.

Since its inception, the festival has taken place in various venues, such as the Megaron Concert Hall and Danaos Cinema, while navigating the unique circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic, with both in-person and digital editions. The festival's 5th edition took place from November 14 to 20, 2022, presenting a rich program of screenings at the Megaron Concert Hall, Municipal Theater of Piraeus, and Kifissia Cinemax 1 & 2, offering another exciting and captivating experience for audiences.
