About ACLS Librarian
ACLS Librarian is the brand for the Atlantic County Library System, an information center that strives to enrich the lives of its diverse communities. Their services include providing learning opportunities, promoting a love for reading, connecting people to technology, and offering resources for entertainment. With ten branches throughout Atlantic County, ACLS also operates a reading center in Buena Township, maintains a collection at Atlantic Cape Community College, and participates in the Interlibrary Loan program.
They have adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic by following CDC guidelines and expanding their in-person services. ACLS offers curbside pickup, encourages patrons to place holds through their online catalog or mobile app, and enhances digital media and databases. They have also procured mobile WiFi hotspots to bridge the digital divide.
