Atlantide is a literature festival held annually in Nantes, France, bringing together writers, artists and audiences to explore literature and the wider world. Hosted at Le Lieu Unique and across venues throughout the city, the festival creates opportunities for conversation, discovery and exchange through its programme of public events. Its activities include author talks, conferences, debates and other literary encounters, with contributions from moderators and interpreters.

Atlantide also offers programming for school groups and the wider public, and works with partner bookshops, libraries and cultural venues. The festival’s 2026 edition featured 52 authors, artists, moderators and interpreters, with more than 80 events across Le Lieu Unique and 21 partner locations, including bookshops and media libraries. The programme placed literature, creativity, freedom and openness to the world at its heart.

Atlantide shares festival news and photographs, and makes selected conference recordings available as podcasts through Le Lieu Unique’s SoundCloud. The next edition is scheduled for 11–14 March 2027
