ATLAS CANADA

ATLAS-Canada is an integral part of the international ATLAS collaboration, focusing on groundbreaking research in particle physics at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) near Geneva. This initiative brings together Canadian physicists and institutions to explore fundamental questions about the universe's composition and mechanics. ATLAS-Canada is committed to advancing our understanding of subatomic particles through innovative research and technology development.

Supported by grants from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), ATLAS-Canada collaborates with various esteemed universities, including the University of Alberta, University of British Columbia, and McGill University, among others. The organization actively engages in projects that not only contribute to global scientific knowledge but also enhance Canada's standing in the international scientific community. By participating in ATLAS and the LHC, Canada plays a vital role in exploring profound scientific inquiries while fostering learning and research development across various disciplines in the nation.
