Atletika Doksy

Atletika Doksy is a children’s athletics club in the Doksy area, offering regular training on the track and outdoors. Its program began in 2015 as a once-weekly activity and grew in response to children’s interest. The club welcomes young athletes, including children aged 6–12, and combines athletics with an active, enjoyable approach to sport. Training takes place on the athletics track at ZŠ Doksy, in the forests around Doksy and Okna, and at the workout area in the Termit complex. Sessions are generally held twice a week, with additional weekend training when there are no competitions.

The club helps children develop their athletic abilities and offers opportunities to test their progress at races. Atletika Doksy also organizes sports camps and training gatherings, and provides club shirts and support for young members. It is connected with the wider Atletika Doksy organization, which hosts established running events, including the Běh okolo Máchova jezera, Červený okruh, Novoroční běh, and Heller Run. The club’s activities bring together training, competition, and community sport.
