Atletika Jihlava

Atletika Jihlava is a nonprofit athletics club based in Jihlava, Czech Republic, dedicated to developing the athletic potential of children, young people and adults. The club provides coaching and opportunities to compete, with activities spanning youth preparation groups and age categories through to adult athletics. Its registered membership exceeds 350 athletes and members, more than two-thirds of whom are young people.

Training is led by a team of coaches with expertise across disciplines including sprints, hurdles, throws, jumps, distance running and combined events. The club’s athletes take part in local and regional competitions, Czech championships and team events, with recent results including medals at regional youth championships and strong performances in league meets. Atletika Jihlava also supports athletes with Down syndrome, whose participation and achievements are featured in club news.

The club is based at the Na Stoupách athletics stadium in Jihlava and welcomes enquiries from prospective members and families. Through its coaching and competition programme, Atletika Jihlava encourages participation and athletic development across age groups.
