ATLETIKA PORUBA

Atletika Poruba is an athletics club based in Ostrava-Poruba, Czech Republic, offering sports training for children, young people and adults. With a long history and a family atmosphere, the club supports athletes from their first steps in sport through youth development to competitive and elite athletics. Its athletes compete for the club and, in some cases, represent the Czech Republic internationally.

Training takes place at modern athletics facilities in Poruba, including a stadium and dedicated throwing and javelin areas. Programs cater to a range of ages and stages, from a playful athletics school and children’s preparatory groups to youth categories, juniors and adults. The club also provides specialist training, qualified coaching and sports camps in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Beyond regular training, Atletika Poruba offers activities such as athletics for schools and families, conditioning running, a children’s athletics decathlon and the Poruba Running Cup. Its projects include Family Spike and Hratletika, a concept for children’s athletics preparation.
