Atmo Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Atmo Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is the regional air-quality observatory for Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, providing information and expertise on air pollution and pollen. It monitors conditions across the region and makes measurements, forecasts, alerts and data available to residents, professionals and local authorities. Its services include real-time air-quality indices, station measurements, pollen observations and forecasts, pollution-vigilance information, and assessments of emissions and exposure. Users can explore regional maps, annual statistics, departmental reports and studies covering pollutants, pollution sources, health, the environment and climate.

Atmo also helps people understand and respond to air-quality issues through practical guidance for daily life, including advice on homes, gardens, heating, travel and physical activity. Its citizen-facing services include Air to Go, an app for anticipating air quality, and the Captothèque, which lets users borrow a mobile sensor to explore local conditions. For organisations and businesses, the observatory offers expert analysis, indoor-air support, training, research and innovation projects, and assistance with territorial climate and air plans. It also encourages public participation in actions to improve air quality, climate and energy use.
