Atmos Foundation

Atmos Foundation is a nonprofit organization and the philanthropic arm of Atmos Solutions, Inc., a contractor working in environmental services, construction, and facility operations. Based in Washington, D.C., with regional offices in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida, the Foundation serves communities across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Its mission is to provide innovative learning experiences that help residents build skills for stronger lives, families, and communities.

The Foundation offers hands-on training in sustainable construction, remediation, environmental education, and workplace safety. It also develops pathways into environmental and construction careers, with a focus on connecting underrepresented communities to employment and supporting minority- and women-owned businesses. Its programs include community cleanups, brownfield reuse projects, small-business readiness support, and youth leadership and civic engagement initiatives. By collaborating with schools and nonprofits, Atmos Foundation helps expand training, mentoring, and opportunities for the next generation of builders. Its approach brings together environmental progress, workforce development, and equity to support resilient careers and community-driven, eco-conscious projects.
