About A Todo Pulmón Paraguay Respira
A Todo Pulmón is a Paraguayan organization dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and implementing comprehensive environmental projects. They recently hosted the 12th edition of the competition to find the largest tree in Paraguay, and an impressive Pink Lapacho (Handroanthus impetiginosus) from Bella Vista emerged as the winner. Located in the Itapúa department, this majestic tree stood out for its incredible height and immense trunk.
The event celebrated the commitment of families who proudly preserve their ancestral trees. In addition to honoring the largest tree in Paraguay, the ceremony also recognized winners in other categories, such as the largest tree in the Chaco and the best nature photograph. A Todo Pulmón's efforts to conserve forests and protect ancestral trees have been recognized at the national level, with the competition recently receiving a declaration of national interest from the Senate.
Through their initiatives, A Todo Pulmón aims to raise awareness about the importance of preserving forests and highlight the significance of these majestic trees for Paraguay
