Atouvents

Atouvents is a sailing association based in Marseillan, on the Étang de Thau in southern France. Founded in April 2008, it brings together people who want to discover or practise sailing in a friendly, supportive setting throughout the year. The association reports more than 200 days of sailing annually and recorded 320 memberships for the 2025–2026 season.

Members can join half-day and full-day outings, weekend trips, Mediterranean cruises, group sailing activities, and convivial nautical picnics. These experiences provide opportunities to take part in sailing manoeuvres and build confidence handling a boat, with experienced volunteer skippers sharing their knowledge on the water. Sailing takes place on the Thau lagoon and, for some trips, in the Mediterranean.

Atouvents sails a fleet of member and association boats, including Crunch, Inca, Othona, L’Aventure, Antioche, Qithau, and Surlova. The association welcomes individuals, families, and boat owners who would like to participate in outings. Its website provides membership and fee information, skipper availability, contacts, local sailing and weather links, photographs, videos, and news about activities.
