Atra: Center for Rabbinic Innovation is a cutting-edge organization dedicated to empowering rabbinic and spiritual leaders to effectively meet the evolving needs of the Jewish people. Recognizing that most younger Jews no longer identify with traditional denominational communities, Atra aims to train and support rabbis as innovative thinkers and community builders. In the 21st century, a new approach is needed to engage and attract individuals who may not be drawn to existing institutions.

Atra provides on-the-job skill-training to equip rabbis with the tools to connect with and inspire the broader Jewish community. By offering cohort-based training and support, Atra enhances the quality, impact, and reach of rabbinic leadership. Led by Executive Director Rabbi Shira Koch Epstein, Atra is committed to transforming the role of a rabbi and fostering visionary, entrepreneurial, and effective Jewish spiritual leaders.
