ATR Sports, established in 2008 by Mohamed Merali in Etobicoke, specializes in racquet sports equipment and footwear. Recognizing a market need, Mohamed transformed his passion for sports into a thriving retail business while balancing studies and other work commitments. Thanks to community support and a grant from the City of Toronto's New Business Starter Program in 2015, ATR Sports expanded to a larger location on the Queensway, offering a broad selection of high-quality products.

The store features an extensive range of adult and junior racquets for tennis, badminton, and squash, as well as a variety of footwear brands like Asics, Nike, and K-Swiss. ATR Sports distinguishes itself with unique offerings such as a demo program for trying racquets before purchase and professional stringing services. Committed to community involvement, ATR Sports supports local sports initiatives and events. The team encourages customers to connect via phone, email, or at the store, promising friendly assistance for all sporting needs.
