ATSDA

Adelaide Tang Soo Do Academy (ATSDA) is a Korean martial arts school based in Newton, South Australia. Established in 1999, the academy provides Tang Soo Do training through a registered club affiliated with the international Tang Soo Do (Soo Bahk Do) Federation, headed by Grandmaster Kang Uk Lee. Its teaching aims to develop students’ fitness, coordination, flexibility, self-protection skills, discipline, humility and overall wellbeing in a supportive, harassment-free environment.

Classes are tailored to different ages and abilities, with options for children, adults and beginners. Kindy Kids sessions cater to children aged four to six, while adult and children’s classes offer martial arts instruction and practical self-defence techniques. The academy also provides Tae Bo and other group fitness classes for people focused on conditioning and getting in shape. Students are grouped by age and ability to help them benefit from their training. ATSDA welcomes participants from age four to over 60 and supports students in setting personal goals, whether they are seeking self-defence, physical fitness or better health.
