Attempta supports board-game authors from their initial concept through publication, helping turn ideas, stories, and projects into engaging, playable products. The brand combines game-development expertise with individual guidance and a commitment to sustainability and accessibility, including using color-blind-friendly colors where possible and advising on barrier-reduced game design.

Services for authors include advice on game development, budgeting, marketing, and distribution; prototype testing with detailed feedback; production and graphic management; and help integrating games into Tabletop Simulator or preparing crowdfunding campaigns. Attempta also connects creators with playtesting groups across Germany and helps them seek grants and donations, drawing on experience with applications to national, regional, and local foundations. Guidance is available for projects that do not plan to use crowdfunding or approach a publisher.

Where possible, Attempta arranges production within the European Union. The brand also runs its own publishing label, Kagu Spiele. Its completed projects include Spielemacher inklusiv, So schmeckt Dettingen, and Kiribati 2024. Other references include Night Express, which raised funds through Kickstarter, and Neustart, now in its second edition.
