About At the Forefront
At the Forefront is a brand that is dedicated to empowering Black girls and providing them with opportunities to thrive and determine their own futures. Their initiative, BRIGHT (Black girls Revolutionise, Influence Globally, Heal, and Thrive), aims to create safe and youth-driven spaces for Black girls from Sub-Saharan Africa and the US. BRIGHT encourages these girls to uplift their voices and strategize their own solutions.
The brand takes a holistic approach, considering factors such as race, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, ability, and cognitive processing in the design and implementation of BRIGHT. To turn this vision into reality, At the Forefront is accepting donations on their GoFundMe page to sponsor girls to be part of the inaugural cohort of BRIGHT.
