Attleboro Land Trust

The Attleboro Land Trust (ALT) is dedicated to preserving natural spaces and promoting ecological stewardship in the Attleboro area. With a commitment to caring for over 740 acres of protected land, the Trust offers a variety of outdoor activities and educational initiatives designed to engage the community and enhance biodiversity. ALT features several preserves, including the Anthony Lawrence Wildlife Preserve, where ongoing scientific studies and volunteer opportunities encourage citizen scientists to participate in ecological observations.

The Trust hosts events like the Annual Meeting, featuring expert talks and community involvement, and organizes activities such as the 5K Hike Challenge to raise funds for environmental protection efforts. Through its collaboration with Wheaton College and the Woodard & Curran Foundation, ALT supports vital research focused on preserving local ecosystems. Individuals can contribute to their mission through membership donations, volunteer work, or participating in community events. Follow ALT on social media to stay updated on events, projects, and ways to help protect the natural beauty of the region.
