The Association of Ukrainian Banks is the first Ukrainian banking association that was founded in 1990 by commercial banks of Ukraine to develop the banking system and protect the interests of its members. Throughout its existence, the UBA has been monitoring and analyzing all changes in the banking system and providing its proposals to ensure the stable functioning of the national economy. The AUB unites commercial banks operating in Ukraine and represents their systemic interests in relations with the National Bank of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada, the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, the State Tax Administration, the Supreme Court of Ukraine, and other governmental and non-governmental institutions and organizations. The purpose of the association is to develop the banking system of Ukraine and protect the interests of its members. More than 70 organizations, including commercial and state-owned banks and non-bank financial companies, are members of the Association.
